Crow Flies Press is a Green and Independent publishing company dedicated to offering books that help to entertain, uplift, and enlighten; ultimately making the planet a cleaner, happier and more peaceful place. Crow Flies Press and our printers are part of the Green Press Initiative and have signed the Treatise on Responsible Paper. This Treatise promises the use of managed forests, recycled products and soy based inks in printing as well as reducing the carbon footprint in all business practices. We are very proud that our carbon footprint is as low as it can be. Even this website is solar powered.

Martin Meader Martin Meader

Martin Meader is a dad, writer, film maker, composer, musician, choral director, a great cook and a lover of fish and chips, mangoes and pineapples. In 1997, he Co-Executive Produced and Co-Wrote the story of Paradise Road, a Fox Searchlight feature, which starred Glenn Close, Cate Blanchett, Pauline Collins, Jennifer Ehle, Julianna Margulies and Francis McDormand.

Ann-Elizabeth Barnes has been a story-teller since she was a child. Her favorite thing to do is to make complicated subjects uncomplicated. Out of this desire came the now 10 year old “Mumbet in the Schools” program for which she has received numerous Massachusetts Cultural Council grants and lots of help from the teachers and children in Berkshire County schools.
